Q2 2024 Android Tower Defense Games Performance in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 concludes, it's time to take a look at the performance of the top Tower Defense games on the Android platform in the US. Sensor Tower has compiled data that gives us an overview of how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a snapshot of the trends observed.

Plants vs. Zombies™ saw a peak in revenue at $18M towards the end of April, followed by a decline to $2M by the end of June. Downloads remained fairly consistent, with a notable spike to 323K in mid-April and a slight dip to 230K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started strong at 1.72M, but experienced a gradual decrease to 1.44M.

Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX, despite not generating revenue, maintained a steady download count, peaking at 267K in mid-April before sliding down to 155K. Weekly active users showed a downward trend, starting at 2.64M and ending the quarter at 2.32M.

Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD demonstrated significant revenue fluctuations, with a high of $2.2M in mid-May, tapering off to $1.24M by late June. Downloads hit a high of 395K in mid-April but saw a decrease to 140K. Active users started at 3.6M, with a decrease noted towards the end of the quarter at 2.92M.

Stick Hero: Tower Defense did not report any revenue but saw a substantial increase in downloads from 111K to 320K in early June, ending the quarter at 188K. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, climbing from 5.24M to a peak of 5.8M in early June, before closing slightly lower at 5.53M.

Lastly, the newly released BangBang Survivor showed impressive growth in revenue, starting at $7M in its release week and escalating to $446M by the end of June. Downloads surged initially to 618K but then followed a downward trend to 160K. Weekly active user count mirrored this pattern, peaking at 825K and settling at 650K.
